Interview with Eugene R. Cronin, salesman and Army Air Corps veteran, concerning his experiences as a prisoner-of-war of the Germans after being shot down over Nazi-occupied Europe during World War II. Cronin dicusses the downing of his bomber and his capture, the hostility of the German civilians, his interrogation at Oberursel, Stalag Luft 1 in Barth, and his liberation by Russian troops.
